This series explores collective psychology, civilisational pathology, moral panic, projection, dehumanisation, and the shadow dynamics of societies.
The project draws inspiration from thinkers such as Carl Jung, Hannah Arendt, René Girard, Mary Douglas, Marshall McLuhan, Lewis Mumford, Frantz Fanon, Simone de Beauvoir, Martin Buber, Erich Fromm, and others across philosophy, anthropology, media theory, religious studies, and cognitive science.
The emphasis is on recurring pathological patterns that emerge across civilisations, including fear contagion, ideological possession, authoritarianism, and the denial of other minds.
