The following is based on the short biography is Wikipedia link from Wikipedia: (some additional material - the last paragraph in thi s section and the second external link - added)

Robert Priddy (born 1936) is the British author of the book "Source of the Dream - My Way to Sathya Sai Baba", which is a favorable book written about the Indian guru Sathya Sai Baba. In later years, Priddy authored End of the Dream. The Sathya Sai Baba Enigma (published through the Indian skeptic and rationalist Basava Premanand) which is a book critical about Sai Baba.

He researched and taught philosophy and sociology at the University of Oslo 1968-85, and is now retired.

Robert's strong stance against Sai Baba has made him, like other Sai critics, the target of slanderous attacks by antagonistic Sai Baba devotees such as Gerald Moreno and Lisa de Witt.
