Originally, I was very dismissive regarding allegations by ex-devotees. Having looked at all this more closely, and seeing the vast weight of material, (the extent of which I was not previously aware) I now feel that the claims of sexual abuse levelled against Sai Baba are too numerous to ignore. In this regard however Sai Baba is in no way unique, as this pattern of abuse of devotees appears to be common among those gurus who do not have a complete realisation.
