The Middle Emotional Body

Optimistic Feeling faculty

Middle Emotional body according to Barbara Brennan
This is the Extravert sensation-Feeling type of Carl Jung.

Christopher Hills identifies this faculty with the colour orange.  It would seem to correspond to the yang (out-going) polarity of Barbara Ann Brennan's "Astral body" (or fourth energy field body).

Optimistic type
A sensation type who is orientated to the future and contact with the community. Hopeful and optimistic at finding his real place in society, living intensely and meaningfully in the concrete world. Expansive and always seeking wider fields of experience. Experiences time as sensation in the present but applies it to the future instead of the immediate now. The colour orange relates well to herd instinct, ambition. agitation, restlessness, exploration and busyness. Movement of sexual orgies towards thinking processes causes Interest in politics and pride.

Christopher Hills, Nuclear Evolution - Discovery of the Rainbow Body,  p.613 (1977, University of the Trees Press)

Corresponding Chakras - Manipura-2 - Anahata - Vishudda (rear)

Christopher Hills' identification of the orange feeling faculty with the second (abdominal or "Swadhisthana", but here not genital) chakra is not really credible.  The only reason for his association is that orange is the second colour in the spectrum. A better correspondence may be the diaphragmatic, shoulder-blades, and back of neck chakras in conjunction; as these rear chakras are along the meridian associated with the rising, expansive yang ch'i energy.

Corresponding astrological planets and signs

Astrologically the planet associated with the outgoing outgoing feeling type would be the sun. The astrological sign associated would therefore be the charismatic Leo.

Corresponding kabbalistic sefirah

There do not appear to be any clear associations in either Hermetic or traditional Kabbalah
